National Leaders and Innovators Gather to Learn Groundbreaking Strategies in Youth Development
DETROIT (August 1, 2024) – Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan (BGCSM) is set to lead the way in redefining youth development with its inaugural Reimagine Summit: Project Moonshot. This transformative three-day event, happening from August 4-6, 2024, will highlight BGCSM’s trailblazing strategies in after-school programming and youth empowerment. The summit kicks off at the Henry Ford Health Pistons Performance Center and continues at Newlab @ Michigan Central, establishing Detroit as the epicenter of innovation in youth services. The summit marks the first time BGCSM has hosted such a significant event in Detroit and speaks to how the organization continues to be a trendsetter, drawing attention from Boys & Girls Clubs and youth development leaders across the nation.

This model is designed to be scalable and adaptable, so its success can be replicated in communities nationwide.”
The Reimagine Summit will convene CEOs from Boys & Girls Clubs across the nation along with other national innovators to delve into cutting-edge approaches in youth programming. Attendees will engage with BGCSM’s visionary model through dynamic presentations, panels on workforce technology and mobility, and robust discussions on building impactful ecosystems. This summit is not just an event; it’s a launchpad for replicable success stories in youth development.
Featured keynote presentations and panel discussions on topics such as workforce technology and mobility, building impactful ecosystems, and addressing youth poverty, racism, and economic mobility. Additionally, youth activities and performances will be showcased to demonstrate the real-world impact of BGCSM’s programs.
