Membership

We welcome boys and girls of all races, religions and cultures. Members must be between ages 6 and 18 (Grades 1-12). Members pay reasonable rates of $50 for an annual membership ($30 for school year; $20 for summer). The actual cost to provide these services is $500 per member. No child is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. Generous supporters help cover the cost of membership for children whose parents or guardians simply can’t afford it.

New Member Orientation

A parent or guardian must attend a group meeting with their children to learn about Club members’ rights and responsibilities. At that time, parents and guardians are asked to co-sign a form, along with their children stating that they have been informed of the rules and agree to abide by them. A birth certificate or Medicare card (for foster children) must be shown as part of the membership process.

Adults and guardians receive a handbook that outlines rules and expectations of members. Topics include: discipline and conduct, dress code (no gang colors, no hats and caps inside the Club), no weapons allowed, safety, health and emergency procedures, transportation, field trips, snacks, and our non-smoking, drug-free environment.

We have an open-door policy that means children who are signed in to the Club can leave the premises at any time. We are accountable for members when they are at our Clubs.

Transportation: Parents or guardians are responsible for getting their children to and from the Clubs. Children often rely on family transportation or car pools, ride their bikes or walk.
