Mission
Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan is a youth development organization providing a positive environment that
enables its members to become responsible, self-reliant, caring adults.
Vision
To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full
potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
- We serve 26,000 kids annually, ages 6-18 (grades 1-12), at our 13 Clubs in four counties.
- Founded in 1926 as Boys' Club of Detroit
- Many former members are now doctors, lawyers and community leaders
- We are affiliated with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, which collectively serve more than 4.4 million youth annually
